Had an excellent Lecture-cum-discussion on “Geo-Political and Strategic Impact of Afghanistan Crisis” and interaction with Afghan students by Dr. Sheshadri Chari, Well-known Strategic & Foreign Policy Analyst and Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Kumar, Professor, JNU, Delhi on Monday, 23rd August 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Sant Dnyaneshwar Hall, SPPU.
The lecture-cum-discussion was chaired by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prof. (Dr.) Nitin Karmalkar and the Guests of Honour were Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) N. S. Umarani; Shri. Rajesh Pande, Management Council Member, SPPU; Prof. (Dr.) Parag Kalkar, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, SPPU.
Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (Retd); Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Dhole, Director, Alumni Association, SPPU; Dr. Santosh Parchure, Director, Students’ Development, SPPU, Students from Afghanistan and Staff were present. The lecture was organized by the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies (DDSS), International Centre, Board of Students’ Development, National Service Scheme and Alumni Association of SPPU, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
