Had an excellent lecture-cum-discussion on "What does the right-wing European Parliament mean for the future of the EU? | Climate Change and Health in India | Contested Memory at Historical Conflict Sites" on Thursday, 26th September 2024 at 10:30 am.

This insightful program was jointly organised by the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies (DDSS), SPPU, and the School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS); School of Sociology and Social Policy (SSP), University of Leeds, The United Kingdom. It was an honor to have the program inaugurated at the hands of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, SPPU, Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi.

We were privileged to have esteemed speakers, including Dr. Charlie Dannreuther, Dr. Papiya Majumdar, Dr. Peter Doak, and Ms. Sweta Datta from the University of Leeds, The United Kingdom; Air Marshal P N Pradhan PVSM (Retd); Col. Ajay Singh; and Prof. (Dr.) Raymond Duraiswami, Head, Department of Environmental Science, RSP Officers, staff, and students were also present.

The discussions spanned critical global and regional issues, offering new perspectives on the future of the EU, climate change, and historical conflicts. Grateful for the enriching dialogue!
