Had an excellent three-day Induction programme of the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies (DDSS) and the Department of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Studies (DBAS) on 21st, 22nd & 23rd August 2019.
The second day of the induction programme started with the RSP representatives sharing their experiences at DDSS, with the students. This was followed by a lecture delivered by former HOD, DDSS, Prof. (Dr.) Arun Dalvi. The highlight of the post lunch session was “Breaking the Ice”. The freshers were welcomed by the senior students and staff.
On the third day of the induction programme, a lecture on, “Internationalization of Higher Education” by Founder and Vice-Chancellor of Lincoln University College (LUC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Prof. (Dr.) Amiya Bhaumik was conducted. Lectures were also delivered by Mr. Sanjay Bhide, Prof. (Dr.) Sushma Bhosale and Brig. Hemant Mahajan, students got an overview of Internationalization of Higher Education, how to face challenges and consulting stress and overview of India’s internal & external security through these informative lectures.
