Had excellent Lecture-cum-discussion on, “Reflections on India - Bangladesh Border Dispute” by Lt Gen Saini, AVSM, YSM, VSM, General Officer Commander-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Southern Command, Pune on 21st August 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at YC-NISDA Library Hall, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan, SPPU. The lecture-cum-discussion was organized by the Department of Defence & Strategic Studies (DDSS) and the Department of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Studies (DBAS), Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
The lecture-cum-discussion was chaired by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SPPU, Prof. (Dr.) Nitin R. Karmalkar and the Guest of Honour for the lecture was the Hon’ble Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr. N.S. Umarani.
Also, the Induction programme for the students of Department of Defence and Strategic Studies (DDSS) and the Department of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Studies (DBAS) was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prof. (Dr.) Nitin Karmalkar, on 21st August 2019. The Hon'ble Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. N.S.Umarani was also present.
