Happy to inform you that Ms. Nadezhda Kotliavevskaia Minin University, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia is invited to conduct the One Week Crash Course on “Russian Language, Culture and Society”. This crash course is jointly organized by the Russian Section of Department of Foreign Languages; Department of Defence and Strategic Studies (DDSS); Department of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Studies (DBAS) and International Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
The one-week crash course will acquaint us with the Russian Language, Culture and Society. This is the first time the study of Russian Language, Culture and Society will be introduced as a two-credit course in various departments as well as colleges affiliated to SPPU.
The inauguration session was held on 20th August 2024 at 12.30 pm at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (Humanities) Building, YC-NISDA Library Hall, SPPU. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi was the Chief Guest for this programme. Air Marshal P. N. Pradhan, Chair Professor, Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Chair, DDSS, SPPU; RSP Officers; Dr. Anagha Bhat Behere, Coordinator for Russian, Department of Foreign Languages, SPPU; Faculty of DDSS, DBAS; International Centre and students were present.
